Fritz Sessions

Die Fritz Sessions ist eine von Doktorand*innen organisierte Veranstaltungsreihe am Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft. Zu diesen Veranstaltungen, die auch als Institutskolloquium fungieren, werden führende Expert*innen eingeladen, um solche wissenschaftlichen Themen zu diskutieren, die die kommenden Jahrzehnte prägen werden. Die Fritz Sessions sind öffentlich und können von interessierten Zuhörer*innen besucht werden. Sie richten sich an ein Publikum mit wissenschaftlicher Vorbildung, erfordern aber kein Expertenwissen zu ihren Themen.

  • Prof. Kate Crawford is a Research Professor of Communication and Science and Technology Studies at USC Annenberg, a Senior principal Researcher at Microsoft Research New York, and an Honorary professor at the University of Sydney. Her latest book is the "Atlas of Artificial Intelligence: Power, Politics, and the Planetary Costs of Artificial Intelligence".
