Dr. Sandra Eibenberger-Arias receives Zellner Science Award 2025
On April 23, 2025, Dr. Sandra Eibenberger-Arias, group leader in the Department of Molecular Physics at the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society, was awarded the prestigious Science Award of the Professor Reinhard Zellner Foundation.

The award ceremony took place at the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Dr. Eibenberger-Arias received the award "in recognition of her outstanding scientific contributions to the molecular spectroscopic control of quantum states of chiral molecules." Her research group, "Controlled Molecules," focuses on understanding and manipulating cold molecules, particularly chiral molecules, in the gas phase.
The Science Award of the Professor Reinhard Zellner Foundation has been awarded since 2022 to outstanding scientists in the field of Physical Chemistry. This award honors Dr. Eibenberger-Arias's significant contributions to science and underscores the importance of her research in the fields of quantum and molecular physics as well as physical chemistry.
Congratulations to Dr. Eibenberger-Arias on this well-deserved recognition!
