Dr. Andrea Martini Receives SILS Young Scientist Award 2024
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Andrea Martini, a post-doc in the Operando Hard X-ray Spectroscopy group led by Dr. Janis Timoshenko at the Interface Science Department of the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society, has been honored with the prestigious SILS Young Scientist Award 2024.
The award, presented by the Italian Synchrotron Radiation Society (SILS), recognizes outstanding contributions to synchrotron radiation methods, techniques, and applications. This accolade is awarded to scientists within seven years of obtaining their Ph.D. (or equivalent) degree, highlighting the early career achievements of Dr. Martini.
The award ceremony took place during the SILS annual conference, held at the University of Calabria in Rende from September 5th to 7th, 2024. This event brought together the scientific community at the University's campus in Arcavacata, following previous conferences in Trieste and Rome.
