A worthy inauguration

On 14 March 2023, Robert Schlögl, Director of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry at the Fritz Haber Institute, was officially inaugurated as the new President of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
 

More than 300 guests from science and politics gathered at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Science and Humanities and listened to the words of the new president. Robert Schlögl used the moment to address the future course for the Foundation and to mark the political and cultural significance of science.

His colleagues from the Fritz Haber Institute accompanied him on this important evening. The Fritz Haber Institute is looking forward to the upcoming projects of the new President of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and to a continued good cooperation in promoting excellent scientists.
