FHI Scientists participate in Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting 2025

Three scientists from the Fritz Haber Institute attended the 74th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Chemistry, held from June 29 to July 4, 2025. The event featured 33 Nobel Laureates and over 600 young scientists worldwide.

The 74th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Chemistry was a prestigious gathering of scientific minds, featuring 33 Nobel Laureates and over 600 young scientists. Among the attendees were three scientists from the Fritz Haber Institute: Dr. JuHyeon Lee, Carlos Gomes Rodellar, and Dr. Alexander Fellows.

Dr. JuHyeon Lee is part of the Controlled Molecules Group led by Dr. Sandra Eibenberger-Arias.
Carlos Gomes Rodellar works in the Interfacial Ionics Group under Dr. Sebastian Öner.
Dr. Alexander Fellows leads the Nonlinear Chemical Imaging Group.

The meeting, themed ‘Educate. Inspire. Connect.’, fostered dialogue across generations with lectures, exchange talks, and panel discussions on AI in chemistry, sustainability, and global science diplomacy. Informal exchanges and social events complemented the scientific sessions.

A highlight was the Max Planck Society's special dinner, offering a unique networking opportunity for attendees from various Max Planck Institutes. This event emphasized the diverse research within the MPG and facilitated enriching discussions.

The meeting also provided young scientists with opportunities to engage with peers from over 100 countries, fostering a collaborative spirit through shared experiences and insights.
