Empowering Scientists: IMPRS-EPPC Spring Block Course 2025

April 30, 2025

The IMPRS-EPPC Spring Block Course 2025 was a remarkable event that showcased the initiative and talent of our PhD students. Held at the historic Schloss Ringberg by Tegernsee, this course was a hub of learning and innovation.

This year, the PhD students took the reins, organizing the entire event themselves. From planning the schedule and selecting speakers to managing logistics, they demonstrated impressive leadership and organizational skills. This hands-on experience is invaluable, equipping them with the soft skills necessary for successful careers in both academia and industry.

The course featured a rich program of talks from leading scientists across various fields, sparking engaging discussions and new ideas. Students also had the opportunity to present their research through flash talks and poster sessions, receiving constructive feedback and building connections with peers and experts.
