Challenges on the Renewable Energy Storage
With the aim of enabling vital exchange of emerging expertise, the international conference “Challenges on Renewable Energy Storage” was set up. Following last year´s first gathering of this kind, the meeting will continue to bring together front runners of the fields catalysis and electrocatalysis, allowing them to exchange views on the most recent advancements, as well as to renew the necessary interdisciplinary networks.

The development and deployment of a novel energy concepts, addressing both environmental as well as energy-independence-concerns, is one of the biggest challenges of the chemical industry in the 21st century. Catalytic processes are crucial to support the energy transition. However, their further optimization requires an inter-disciplinary approach.

We look forward to fruitful discussions on the scientific and technological challenges of the renewable energy storage.
