The Scientific Advisory Board is the main advisory group for the Fritz Haber Institute, offering guidance and recommendations. Its regular evaluations help the Max Planck Society stay accountable and use its resources effectively. The board consists of top scientists from Germany and abroad who are independent of the Max Planck Society. Together, they bring broad research expertise and insight into the German science landscape, while also strengthening the Institute’s international network.
Every three years, the board visits the Institute to review its report and meet with researchers. These visits are key opportunities for feedback, personal interaction, and scientific exchange.
